The UF ASCE chapter will be participating in a community service project with Habitat for Humanity in the near future.
Habitat for Humanity is a non-governmental, non-profit organization devoted to building "simple, decent, and affordable" housing. Homes are built using volunteer labor and are sold at no profit. This will be a great opportunity for us to use our Civil Engineering skills! We're not sure when we are going to do this project but you can stay posted by coming to our next meeting.
Adopt-a-Road
Adopt-a-Road is an ASCE favorite, especially with the roadway/transportation track students.
See the ubiquitous picture to the left to get inspired and come out the next time we do it.
